March and April
Like all of you, we have not been going to car shows much for the last few weeks. Rex and Annette were at the GoodGuys 10th LMC Truck Spring Lone Star Nationals at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX on March 13th when the rains came. By noon the show had to be called off for the day because one of the two ways to get into and out of the track’s infield was flooded. That evening the call came in that the mayor of Fort Worth had shut the show down due to the COVID-19 virus. So on Saturday Rex and Annette went back to the show and with the help of some family and friends loaded up the trailer and headed back to Peabody.
Since then Rex, Annette, Moose and Travis have been busy working! We’re working on the website, getting as many new products on the site as fast as possible. You should see a bunch of new products from Vintage Air, Inc, Lokar, FITech, and more on the site now with much more coming soon! If there's anything that you need that's not on the site yet you can call 620-792-2836 for one on one help!
Coming up in May!
This weekend (April 25-26) we were supposed to be in North Carolina for the 6th Annual Goodguys North Carolina Nationals, with the Knoxville NSRA event the following weekend. The Goodguys show has been postponed, as of now the date is not known, and the NSRA show has been moved back to Oct. 2, 3, 4 of this year.

Good Guys has come up with a great idea while we’re all at home, Virtual Car Shows! Info on the Virtual Car Show happening April 25 is here.
Back in April Travis was supposed to attend the Lonestar Round Up, which has been postponed to Labor Day weekend in Austin, get all of the latest on this show here.
The Stray Kat 500 was scheduled for May 2-3 and has now been cancelled for the year, go here for more info.
The 37th Annual Mid-America Street Rod Nationals is now postponed, we do not have the new date yet but, we plan on being there! Get more info on that show here.
Things to do while you're at home
We've started a project that we're calling the ASRNova Project where we are updating and upgrading a solid survivor 1972 Nova to make it more drivable, reliable and more fun to drive! You can see all of the updates on our blog here.
Affordable Street Rods has a Youtube page now where those ASRNova videos are stored, you can subscribe there to be kept up to date on the project.
And if you've gotten bored with your Netflix queue, you can always see Car Features and Car Show Coverage on Travis' Royboy Productions Youtube page. Travis also has about 100,000 images from car shows and feature articles that he's shot all over the country on his website here.
