Altman Easy Latch 1948-1952 Ford Truck

Are you tired of slamming the doors on your 1948-1952 Ford Truck?

Are the latches on your classic car not living up to the other work you've put into your pride and joy?

Face it, most classic car and truck door latches have been abused over the years. Unfortunately, the available options don't offer the quality that your classic or custom Ford car deserves. That is where the Altman Easy Latch for the 1948-1952 Ford Truck comes to the rescue.

The Altman Easy Latch kit is a vehicle specific, bolt-on, bear jaw rotary claw latch kit. Our kit features contoured jam plates to match the features of your vehicles doors. Our bear jaw rotary claw latches are each designed to work with the stock exterior handles, interior handles, and the exterior door lock cylinders of the specified vehicles. Each piece of our bear jaw latches are zinc plated to fight corrosion. The internal claws are case hardened and black oxide coated. Each kit comes with everything you need for two doors. The Altman Easy Latch kit will have your doors opening and closing smoothly and safely. All of our kits are designed, manufactured, and assembled here in the USA. Each of our Altman Easy Latch Kits are available for those that wish to use them on a shaved handle application.

Q. I have a 51 f1 ford pickup it has no key holes and no door laches will these work on mine and could I put electric poppers with them (aucuwaiters)

A. The kit should work fine for your application. You would order our shaved handle option. There will be a place to connect your inside door handle, as well as your door solenoid.

Q. I have a 51 f100 with original leaches and only 1 key cylinder on the pasinger side if I get your leaches can I put key cylinder on both doors

A. Both of the latches in the Altman Easy Latch kit come with lock provisions installed, so if you wish to add a lock cylinder to the drivers side, you will be all set up.

Q. I was installing this kit(1950 f1) and I broke the striker pin bolt off in the plate. Is there a way to buy just these pieces?

A. You can purchase replacement striker bolts and or striker blocks.
